What You’ll Need
• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working in a nursery or early years childcare setting
• Previous experience supporting or supervising other practitioners
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Confidence completing observations, planning, and developmental assessments
• Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety requirements in early years settings

• Lead the day-to-day organisation of a nursery room and guide practitioner practice
• Plan and deliver EYFS-based activities suited to children’s age and development
• Monitor observations, learning journeys, and developmental assessments
• Maintain a safe, organised environment that meets safeguarding standards
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers about children’s progress
• Work with colleagues and management to maintain consistent care standards
