Search Consultancy is looking for a professional Scaffolder to join our busy access and construction teams across Newcastle. We are partnering with leading scaffolding contractors and major house builders who require "height and safety" experts capable of erecting, altering, and dismantling complex structures at a fast pace.
If you are a Scaffolder who thrives in a high-volume environment and can move seamlessly from basic independent towers to specialized birdcage or cantilever scaffolds, we have immediate starts and long-term runs of work available now.
The Role
* Erection & Dismantling: Safely erecting and dismantling various types of scaffolding including independent, putlog, and birdcage structures.
* Safety & Inspection: Ensuring all structures are built to TG20:21 standards and carrying out regular inspections to ensure the safety of other trades.
* Technical Fitting: Installing specialized components such as debris netting, gin wheels, and loading bays to meet site-specific requirements.
* On-Site Logistics: Working as part of a gang to load/unload vehicles and organize materials efficiently to minimize downtime.
* Productivity Driven: We need Scaffolders used to the speed of large-scale commercial or new-build sites who can hit daily targets without compromising on safety protocols.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Valid CISRS Card (Part 1, Part 2, or Advanced) is essential.
* CSCS Card: A valid Blue or Gold card is mandatory.
* Experience: Proven track record in tube and fitting or system scaffolding (Layher/Cuplok) on busy construction sites.
* Physical Fitness: Must be comfortable working at heights and capable of heavy lifting throughout the shift.
* Tools & PPE: Full professional tool kit (spanners, levels, belts) and standard 5-point PPE.
* Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
