Summary
Applicants are required to have a full UK Nursing & Midwifery Council Professional Registration and Minimum of three years Theatre experience
To provide Leadership to all members of the Multi Disciplinary team.
To prioritise, expedite and organise patient care within the clinical setting.
Lead emergency situations and provide direction to the team.
Work alongside members of the MDT.
Act as a lead in the following areas; Decontamination, Practice Development and Medical Devices.
Effective communication skills.
Be required to scrub for all procedures, supervise qualified and/or unqualified staff, and maintain a safe working environment for themselves, their patients and other colleagues.
Demonstrate clinical skills specific to Orthopaedics, Gynae, General, Urology, ENT, Max Fax, Emergencies, Trauma and Breast.
Have a wide knowledge of all complex cardiac and thoracic cases and be able to scrub for them.
Be able to lead the team
