Summary
The role plays a vital part in improving data quality, supporting safe clinical decision-making, and ensuring accurate reporting to meet local, regional, and national requirements. The Digital Midwife will act as a subject matter expert for maternity data, providing guidance and support to clinical staff, identifying risks and gaps in digital documentation, and contributing to service improvement initiatives.T his post requires excellent communication, strong clinical credibility, and the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams, balancing clinical practice with digital responsibilities to enhance patient safety, experience, and service delivery.
