About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Production MIG Welder to join a growing and well-established manufacturing team in Halesowen.
This role involves welding a variety of light tubular mild steel assemblies using purpose-built jigs. The position is focused on production welding, so fabrication experience is not essential, but the ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds at a good pace is essential.
You will be working within a clean, safe and well-equipped workshop environment alongside a skilled and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform high-quality MIG welding on mild steel components
* Weld components accurately using bespoke production jigs
* Maintain a consistent output and high welding standard
* Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
* Ensure finished products meet quality standards and specifications
* Follow all health and safety procedures
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Production MIG Welding
* Ability to weld tubular and flat mild steel products
* Experience working with jigs in a production environment
* Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
* Good attention to detail and quality focused
* Reliable with strong timekeeping and attendance
