Are you passionate about delivering technology driven change that has a real impact on people’s lives? We’re seeking a friendly, proactive and highly organised ICT Programme Manager to join our ICT Shared Service – playing a key role in shaping the Council’s digital transformation journey.

In this exciting and varied role, you will lead the development and delivery of our ICT Programme, ensuring projects are well-designed, well-managed and aligned with the Council’s strategic goals. From coordinating complex multi-supplier workstreams to championing innovation and best practice project management, you'll be at the heart of improving services for our communities.

What you’ll be doing


Managing multiple ICT programmes and projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they stay on track for scope, budget and timelines.
Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into effective project outcomes.
Overseeing risk management, budget monitoring, supplier coordination and programme governance.
Promoting innovation by exploring new and emerging technologies that can support efficient and improved Council services.
Ensuring smooth change management processes so new systems are adopted successfully and with minimal disruption.


What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with:


Extensive ICT programme management experience, ideally in the public sector.
Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and manage multiple priorities.
A sound understanding of project management tools, risk methodologies and key ICT technologies (cloud, networking, security, end user devices).
A PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM Practitioner qualification.
