Warehouse Operative - Normanton
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm
- Total: 39 hours per week
Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour
About the RoleJoin our friendly and hardworking warehouse team in a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. You'll report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work collaboratively to meet customer demand and maintain high standards across the site.
Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations
- Carry out regular safety inspections
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe
Warehouse Operations
- Load and unload vehicles
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing stock
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for dispatch
- Use warehouse systems to track stock and movements
- Store goods correctly and safely, including hazardous materials
- Support with stock takes and inventory accuracy
- Using Fork Lift Truck
Teamwork & Communication
- Work closely with your team and supervisor
- Ensure visitors and contractors follow site rules
- Raise any issues promptly and professionally
- FLT Licence(s)
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Team player with a proactive attitude
