Summary
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join our busy HR team
The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester & North Merseyside is looking for a HR Advisor to join our HR team on a 12 month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.
Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be part of a small team providing exceptional HR service with high standards of advice and support.
This is an exciting role that offers opportunity to further develop your operational HR Portfolio. You will provide expert advice, guidance and coaching to managers on a range of employee relations matters, including, sickness absence, health and wellbeing, conduct and performance. You will also support on a variety of HR projects as required.
This position requires someone who can use their own initiative, with determination and drive in a professional yet friendly manner and who can be flexible in their approach whilst dealing with a wide range of people and situations.
CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent work experience is essential along with a good understanding of ACAS principles and current Employment Law matters.
The position is full time, working 35 hours per week, however reduced hours will be considered for the right candidate.
Flexible working arrangements are available as part of the role to support work–life balance, specifically a 9-day fortnight, 3-weekly Friday off, and Early Finish Fridays. These options allow full-time hours to be worked flexibly, while providing regular additional time away from work.
We offer 28 days holidays plus bank holidays per annum, increasing with length of service.
