Salary: £95-£105 per day (Depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Contract: Long term Supply
About the role
Source Supply is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs in a small, friendly mainstream primary school in the Chesterfield area. This is a part-time position, working five mornings per week within a Reception class. The role will also involve support with personal care, including toileting.
The school prides itself on its warm, supportive, and inclusive environment, and is looking for a Teaching Assistant who can provide calm, consistent, and nurturing support to help the child feel safe, confident, and engaged in learning.
Previous experience supporting children with additional needs would be beneficial; however, the school is primarily seeking someone with the right attitude, patience, and commitment to building a positive relationship with the pupil and supporting their development.
Requirements
Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:
- Experience in working with children in a school or specialist setting
- A nurturing, patient and consistent approach
- Have referenceable experience working in a school setting.
- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.
- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
