JOB DESCRIPTION:

Bus Shunter required for an immediate start. Our client is looking for a reliable, responsible, and hardworking individual to join their team. This is a full-time position working evening/night shifts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely moving buses around the depot and ensuring vehicles are correctly positioned for cleaning, maintenance, and the next day's service.

Working Hours 18:00 - 01:30


Tuesday - Saturday (Sunday & Monday off)

Daily Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Moving buses safely around the depot and parking areas.

  • Positioning buses for cleaning, refuelling, and maintenance.

  • Ensuring vehicles are parked in the correct designated areas.

  • Carrying out basic vehicle checks and reporting any issues or defects.

  • Maintaining safety standards while operating vehicles within the depot.

  • Communicating with depot staff and supervisors regarding vehicle movements.

  • Keeping the depot area organised and safe at all times.

  • Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Previous driving experience preferred.

  • Valid Clean UK driving licence (Category D preferred, but not essential depending on client requirements).

  • Reliable and punctual.

  • Good awareness of safety procedures.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
