About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of our client who specialises in roofing and cladding projects across the UK. This role involves delivering materials directly to the company's own sites nationwide, often requiring precise and safe deliveries at height.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled driver looking for consistent weekday work with the potential to secure a permanent position with the company for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver roofing and cladding materials to company project sites across the UK
- Operate a HIAB crane to safely deliver materials at height (up to 70ft)
- Typically 1 delivery per day to own sites
- Ensure safe loading/unloading and compliance with site safety procedures
- Occasional trips to Northern Ireland, which may involve an overnight stay
Requirements
- Valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- ALLMI HIAB Licence with D1, D2 and E categories
- Proven experience delivering at heights up to 70ft
- Good understanding of site safety and safe crane operation
