Summary


The Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Coordinator supports the Apprenticeships and Widening Participation Leader to increase the knowledge and understanding of apprenticeships and widening participation in the Trust. Supporting workforce development and quality programmes effectively using the apprenticeship levy.

Working with all service managers and Trust employees to facilitate opportunities to undertake a wide range of professional and academic apprenticeship programmes in support of role development and career progression for employees working at all levels across the Trust.

Building networks and positive relationships with training providers, and other external stakeholders to ensure quality, effective and efficient programme provision. Share best practice for the provision of viable and consistent opportunities to access apprenticeship programmes and widening participation opportunities across the Trust. This includes upskilling through functional skills and ensuring that new and existing employees are given the opportunity to be developed through apprenticeship programmes and widening participation opportunities. Carry out any relevant administrative tasks which contribute towards delivering the Trust’s Education & Workforce strategies as well as those relating to Divisional Business Work plans and policies
