IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Sewing Machinist to join a busy manufacturing team in Redruth.
In this role, you will operate industrial sewing machines to produce or repair textile products, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and precise stitching based on patterns and specifications. You will work carefully to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards, including accurate seam allowances and neat finishes.
Key Duties- Sew bespoke garments including reinforcements and fastenings.
- Operate zigzag, overlock, and blind hem machines to a high standard.
- Check finished products against specifications.
- Carry out alterations where required.
- Log completed work accurately using manufacturing software.
- Previous sewing machine experience desirable but not essential.
- Thorough and precise approach to work.
- High attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with your hands.
- Numerically competent and computer literate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Commitment to delivering a high level of quality and accuracy.
- £12.21 per hour.
- Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 4.30pm.
- Friday, 7.30am - 12pm.
