Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across our products and processes. This position requires a deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and both AS9100 and ISO9001.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Development & implementation of inspection control plans, gauge control and calibration systems.
Lead root cause analysis investigations for non-conformities and develop corrective action plans + CA development / implementation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality practices into all stages of product development.
Completing FAIR and PPAP reports(where applicable, including SPC, gauge R&R, PFMEA)
Monitor and report on quality metrics, ensuring that targets are met or exceeded and contribute to analysis of quality related KPI's
Conducting 1st-off inspection ensuring compliance
Programming metrology equipment.
Reporting to QM and SLT
Experience of inspection in similar environment
Reading a technical drawing
Understanding geometric symbols & tolerances
Use of calliper & micrometre
Use of gauges (plug, screw plug, screw ring, gap gauges, etc.)
Reading & following a control plan
Skills
Strong knowledge of AS9001 and ISO9001 and their application in quality assurance.
Proven experience within a quality position within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex engineers' drawings.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Sound knowledge of metrology equipment.
