Are you looking for a fantastic new opportunity? Cornerstone Theatre are looking to appoint a Casual Theatre Technician to provide technical expertise to ensure that all performances and events run smoothly, safely, and to a high professional standard.

About the role:
Cornerstone Theatre are seeking a flexible and experienced Casual Theatre Technician to support the delivery of productions, events, and community use of the venue. This is a flexible, casual role providing technical expertise to ensure that all performances and events run smoothly, safely, and to a high professional standard.

As a Theatre Technician, you will ensure safe set up and operation of equipment and provide guidance and advise to colleagues, students and visitors. You will also work collaboratively with the Theatre Manager, Campus Manager, Creative staff and external hirers to deliver high-quality experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, works well as part of a team, and is committed to delivering excellent service to patrons, performers, and hirers.

About you:
We are looking for someone who has previous experience working in a technical role within a theatre, events or a live performance setting.

The ideal candidate will have good organisational skills with a proactive problem-solving approach and ability to work independently under pressure.

You must have awareness of current health and safety legislation in a theatre environment along with strong practical knowledge of lighting, sound and AV systems.
