Summary
The post-holder will, work closely with the Associate Director of EPRR, H&S, F&S, to ensure a continued state of preparedness for the Trust to respond to any major or significant incident, ensuring measures are in place to maintain continuity of its core business where practical. The post-holder will be required to be support in the event of a major or significant incident. They will ensure the Trust meets its statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements under the Civil Contingencies Act (2004), including training, planning and coordination, working with multi-agency partners and the local resilience forum as required. They will work towards being the strategic advisor for Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Resilience (EPRR) and the subject expert in the organisation. They will lead the EPRR and Business Continuity function within the organisation and will be required to deliver on a number of key result areas and projects. The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring that all relevant Trust guidance is developed, plans remain current and are regularly tested, and there are mechanisms in place to capture learning.
