Ability to support and help train new staff in a variety of settings. Willingness to work towards the experienced to teach section of the Competency Framework. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to relate well to children and families. Desirable NVQ Level 3 in Health or Social Care, or a recognised Nursery Nurse qualification. GCSEs in Maths and English. British Sign Language Level 1 or Makaton. Experience with relevant clinical procedures or technology dependent care. At least 1 year of experience supporting children with complex health needs. At least 1 year working with children in settings such as nurseries, respite care or community services. Other Requirements: A full driving licence and access to a car for work purposes are essential.
