Summary
Help shape the future of the Environment Agency
We’re recruiting a Project Manager and a Culture Advisor to play central roles in embedding the Guiding Principles of our EA2030 corporate strategy. Joining a dynamic new team, you will help define, socialise and measure the behaviours, mindsets and ways of working that shape how we operate to achieve the objectives of EA2030, unlocking benefits for the environment and communities we serve. You will contribute to a programme focused on integrating the Guiding Principles into leadership expectations, colleague behaviours, policies, processes linked to the employee experience and organisational systems – helping us build a consistent culture where these principles are lived every day.
Project Manager -
As Project manager, you will lead programme delivery through clear and effective planning, coordination and governance. You will bring structure, clear communication and confidence managing risks, stakeholders and progress.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and manage project plans, milestones, risks and reporting
Coordinate activity with key stakeholders
Support communication, engagement and change management activity
Culture Advisor -
As culture advisor, you will undertake projects that drive cultural shifts by embedding new behaviours and leadership mindsets across a range of people related processes across the employee lifecycle, using your understanding of people and organisational culture.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and deliver projects to embed new behavioural expectations and mindset shifts across the employee lifecycle
Work alongside programme partners to influence embedding the Guiding Principles in wider organisational ways of working (eg, governance, communications, change management)
Create tools, guidance and supporting materials
Facilitate and support workshops and engagement sessions
We’re looking for people who are collaborative, curious, adaptable, creative, inclusive and committed to modelling the EA2030 Guiding Principles. You’ll work closely together and with colleagues across the organisation to help shape a culture we can all be proud of.

You will join a new Culture team within the People and Inclusion department of our Strategy, Transformation and Assurance directorate. Experience/skills required
Both roles will require having good knowledge and experience of operating in a project management environment and of helping drive organisational culture change. We need individuals with a track record of great communication, collaboration, strategic thinking and project delivery.
Project Manager -
You’ll need:
Proven project management experience (either fully accredited in Prince 2/APM etc or working towards it)
Evidence of organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to ork independently and drive delivery
Culture Advisor -
You’ll need:
Experience in culture/behavioural change, organisational design, HR or people development
Proven communication and facilitation skills
Ability to translate principles and concepts into practical actions
