Unique Support & Care Recruitment Services is recruiting on behalf of 2’s Company Home Care Services, a family‑run home help service supporting individuals who need practical assistance or friendly companionship in their own homes.
We are seeking 1–2 Care Companions to join their team on a part‑time, self‑employed basis, supporting clients across the local area. The role focuses on helping people remain independent, comfortable and socially connected.
Key Responsibilities
Providing companionship and emotional support
Preparing light meals
Assisting with light housekeeping
Helping with errands or shopping trips
Escorting clients to GP or hospital appointments when required
Supporting clients with day‑to‑day tasks to maintain their independence
Requirements
Full UK driving licence
Access to your own vehicle
Valid passport
Up‑to‑date DBS check
Ability to travel between local areas
Previous care or companion experience is beneficial but not essential
Additional Information
Due to the personal nature of support required by some clients (e.g., help with dressing, getting in and out of the shower, etc.), a female Care Companion is required for this role to maintain privacy and dignity.
