Summary
The Production Operatives main role is to test electrical components and accurately record the data, testing products from specific customers, generating test reports and assisting in other warehouse tasks within the department.
The operative will get involved in stock processing and inventory control.
They will work as part of a team to achieve both personal and team testing targets.
They will also undertake any reasonable task as outlined by the management / supervisory team.
Electronic Compontent Testing
To process jobs through the Component Test Workstation, using the corresponding Test equipment.
To record the outcome of the tests on the Job sheet in both hard and soft copy in the relevant locations.
To ensure that the data accuracy is maintained at all times.
To cover all aspects of packing and labelling stock once tested following agreed processes.
To put away stock into the stock management boxes within the workplace storage areas ensuring that the correct products are always placed within in the correct bin locations.
Assisting with stock-takes, processing stocks, de-labelling, packing and keeping work area tidy.
Assisting with checking tested jobs when required.
To undertake any reasonable task as outlined by the Production Manager.
