Summary
Based in the Go Global team within Global Engagement, the post-holder will play a key role in supporting activity relating both to inbound and outbound exchange students.
Swansea University recognises the significant benefits to students of gaining international experience with a semester, year or summer abroad. As a result, the University has in place an ambitious strategy to increase the number of its students taking up these ‘Global Opportunities’. The University also welcomes students from international partner universities who wish to spend part of their degree studying in Swansea as exchange or visiting students. The Go Global Team is responsible for coordinating this activity.
Working within the Go Global team, the post-holder will play a key role in supporting activity relating both to inbound and outbound exchange students. This individual will be responsible for providing a pro-active, professional and customer focussed service to students, colleagues, and international partners.
The post holder will be required to work independently as well as part of a team and will need to be well-organised, thorough, methodical, adaptable and be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, IT skills and attention to detail.
