This multi-million-pound investment marks an exciting step forward in the Trust’s commitment to innovation, patient safety, and high-quality care.
At Wexham Park Hospital, robotic surgery will be delivered across multiple specialties, includingUrology, Upper GI, Surgery, Gynaecology, and Colorectal Surgery.
As part of this new service development, we are seeking motivated and skilled professionals who want to be at the forefront of robotic surgery within the NHS. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a developing service, contribute to its future growth, and work within a forward-thinking organisation that values training, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• To act as first or second assistant to the operating surgeon under supervision.
• To assist with surgical procedures in the both the elective and trauma operating theatre.
• To assist with NHS operating sessions where an assistant is required.
• To provide a skilled, informed assistance to the operating surgeon during the process of surgery
• To provide a comprehensive range of clinical care to patients in the pre-operative environment
• To contribute to the assessment and evaluation of patient care needs and the setting of standards of care within the theatre environment.
