This role will involve supporting children with a wide range of physical, learning, emotional and social needs, including those who are vulnerable or involved in child protection concerns. You’ll be working across various community settings, nurseries, mainstream and special needs schools, and you’ll spend part of your week working in a special school environment.

At the heart of everything we do are our core values:
• Accountability – We take responsibility for delivering safe and effective practice.
• Inclusion – Every child and family deserves to be heard, valued, and respected.
• Compassion – We approach every situation with empathy, offering support that truly cares.
• Empowerment – We help children build the confidence and skills they need to thrive in daily life.

This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of children and young people in our community. If you're committed to making a difference, we'd love to hear from you.

• Provide an inclusive, child-centred Occupational Therapy service for children and young people, aged 0-19, with diverse needs. This includes children who may be vulnerable or require safeguarding support and ensuring statutory support is in line with The Children’s Act (2014) and EHCPs.
• Deliver compassionate therapy that is meaningful, accessible and empowering to every child and their family
• Manage a varied caseload across community and school settings, working collaboratively with other professionals in a multidisciplinary team to create positive outcomes.
• Demonstrate professionalism and accountability through clear communication, effective clinical reasoning and timely documentation.
• Partner with families, carers, educators and other professionals to create a supportive, inclusive environment where everyone’s input is valued.
