About Habitat Homecare
Habitat Homecare is a dedicated domiciliary care provider supporting people to live independently in their own homes across Swansea and surrounding areas. While we traditionally support elderly clients, we are expanding our services to include individuals with complex needs.
The Role
We are looking for compassionate, patient, and resilient Complex Care Support Workers to join our team.
This role will involve supporting individuals who may present with challenging behaviours and complex support needs. You will help promote independence, safety, and wellbeing within their homes and community.
Alongside this, you may also support some of our elderly clients with domiciliary care visits.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge
• Promoting independence, wellbeing, and choice
• Following care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies
• Remaining calm and professional in challenging situations
• Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks where required
• Assisting clients to access the community and activities
• Maintaining accurate records and communication with the care team
What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in care, support work, complex care, learning disabilities, or mental health support (preferred)
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A genuine passion for supporting others
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
