Summary

Thorn Baker Construction require 1 x Labourer with a Counterbalance Forklift Ticket to join a busy project in St Albans, Herefordshire. This is a great opportunity to secure consistent hours on a live site with a reputable construction firm.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck to load, unload and move materials safely around the site

  
  

• Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with daily tasks

  
  

• Move building materials, tools and equipment around the site

  
  

• Load and unload deliveries

  
  

• Maintain clean and safe working areas

  
  

• Follow all site health & safety regulations at all times

  
  

• Carry out manual handling tasks when required

  
  

• Perform general site labouring duties including:

  • Clearing waste

    
    

  • Moving materials

    
    

  • Assisting with installations

    
    
    

  • Conduct basic forklift checks before use

    
    Working Hours:

    7:00am – 5:00pm

    Requirements:

    • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Ticket (essential)

      
      
    • CSCS card required
      

    • Previous site labouring experience preferred

      
      

    • Good work ethic and reliability

      
      

    • Ability to follow site safety procedures
