Summary
FACILITIES COORDINATOR
Salary: £28,079.10 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm
Location: Manchester Magistrates Court, Manchester, M60 1PR
Are you a proactive, hard working professional with a "can-do" attitude? G4S Facilities Management are looking for a Facilities Coordinator on a full time, permanent basis, working Monday to Friday at Manchester Magistrates Court.
In this key role, you will drive compliance across all administrative and portering KPIs. You will lead and develop the court Portering and Administrative teams, proactively refining systems and procedures to enhance our performance reporting and operational evidence
Core Responsibilities :
Oversee the end-to-end management of court Porters and Admin Staff, including Attendance Management, Disciplinaries, recruitment, vetting, performance, development and appraisals. To ensure service provision is in line with contractual KPI’s and agreed Procedures.
Oversee the comprehensive training strategy for a contract team of 35. This includes identifying and sourcing relevant training programs, directly delivering mandatory Health & Safety modules, and ensuring the training matrix and all individual records are kept strictly up to date
Responsible for Suppliers (non-Maintenance) including H&S and Procurement compliance and performance monitoring.
Manage payroll process for all personnel, ensuring the accurate recording, calculation, and authorisation of overtime in line with budgetary constraints.
Conduct disciplinary investigations and manage staff performance standards as required.
Produce comprehensive monthly HR, CAFM, and H&S statistical returns.
Responsible for undertaking focused team audits (including other teams), behavioural checklists and H&S Tours
Chair the Health & Safety Committee, manage COSHH registers, and oversee incident investigations and bi-monthly reporting
Client liaison: Attend Monthly Performance Meetings and take minutes, field actions arising. Manage and monitor complaints
Register including carrying out complaint investigations where required.
Essential Criteria:
Expert in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) for collaborative project management and data analysis.
Proven track-record in staff management, fostering a high-performance culture through mentorship and clear direction.
Proven ability to streamline office operations, manage complex filing systems, and maintain meticulous digital records to support business continuity
Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a focus on building cross-functional relationships.
Strong organisational capabilities with a systematic approach.
