Female Care Assistant – Norham (TD15)
A lady in Norham is looking for a reliable female care assistant to support her to remain independent at home.Role: Weekend support (7 hours per weekend) with some weekday holiday cover. Times to be agreed at interview. Flexibility available for the right candidate.Requirements:
- Full driving licence and willing to drive the client’s car
- Physically able to assist with a wheelchair
- Committed, caring, reliable and trustworthy
- Able to work with limited guidance once familiar with the routine
- Respect confidentiality
- Morning routine and full personal care
- Support with showering, dressing, creams and eye drops
- Emptying and washing sleep apnoea mask
- Preparing breakfast, lunch and simple evening‑meal prep
- Essential bathroom and kitchen hygiene
- Support out in the community as needed
- Enhanced DBS required (paid for by employer)
- Training provided where needed, including Health & Safety
