Are you an experienced and passionate clinical leader looking for your next step? I am recruiting for a dedicated Deputy Manager (Clinical) to support the Home Manager in delivering outstanding, person-centred nursing care within a well-established care home in Swaffham, Norfolk.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident NMC registered nurse with Deputy Manager experience who is committed to achieving excellence in care, clinical governance, and regulatory compliance.

The Role

As Deputy Manager (Clinical), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care in line with CQC standards and best practice guidelines.
You will:

- Provide strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
- Promote person-centred care that upholds dignity, choice, and wellbeing
- Take responsibility for clinical governance and oversee the service in the absence of the Home Manager
- Ensure compliance with CQC requirements and company policies
- Mentor, supervise, and support nurses and care staff
- Conduct clinical audits and oversee medication management
- Review, update, and evaluate care plans
- Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
- Complete pre-admission and risk assessments
- Liaise effectively with healthcare professionals, families, and external agencies
- Safeguard residents by identifying appropriate referral pathways

About You We are looking for someone who is:

- An NMC registered nurse with relevant clinical experience (essential)
- Experienced in a Deputy Home Manager role
- Knowledgeable in CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Skilled at building strong working relationships with families, professionals, and staff
- Confident in promoting shared ownership of care programmes with residents and families
- Proactive, organised, and able to lead by example
