Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Toynbee School has a very strong community function operating 7 days a week, 360 days a year. We are looking for a Community Assistant to support our very successful Community function, which has grown significantly in the last 3 years. Reporting to our Community Manager, your main role will be the first point of contact for all community customers, ensuring they have everything they need for their hire, always keeping the site presentable and ensuring security of the site i.e. locking and unlocking the site. We also operate a Community Café serving drinks and snacks to customers.
The hours for this role are weekends 10:00 – 16:00.
We are looking for a proactive individual with excellent IT skills, specifically data processing and Office 365. Strong organisational skills, along with the ability to work to deadlines, are essential. Candidates should have a good level of literacy and numeracy (equivalent to at least a GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English) and excellent inter-personal skills.
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
