Summary

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Wraparound Care Lead to join our vibrant team at Elmley Castle First School. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives while working in a warm, supportive environment.

About the Role

As a Wraparound Care Assistant, you will:

• Prioritise safeguarding above all else, ensuring the safety and welfare of every child.
• Lead high‑quality, safe, and nurturing care for children aged3–10 years.
• Help create a fun and stimulating after‑school environment, full of engaging, practical play activities that meet children’s developmental needs.
• Lead children’s emotional wellbeing and encourage positive interactions.
• Lead a caring, inclusive, and energetic atmosphere where every child feels happy and supported.
• Assist with snack preparation, following food hygiene procedures (training can be provided).


What We’re Looking For

• A kind, energetic person who enjoys working with young children.
• Someone with enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
• A team player who is committed to promoting excellent safeguarding practices.
• Experience in childcare is helpful but not essential—we provide full training, including:

• Safeguarding and child protection
• Food hygiene
• First aid
• Play-work and activity planning
