Summary
Position DetailsJob Title: Front of House Reception Support Hours: Part Time - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-1:30pm (occasional extra hours available) Duration: Ideally starting 16/03/2026 until approximately 30/04/2026 Location: Central Basingstoke (8‑minute walk from train station, 5‑minute walk to street parking)Pay Rate = £14.50 per hour base rate + £1.68 per hour holiday allowance Key Responsibilities
- Greeting visitors and clients in a friendly, professional manner
- Managing the reception desk and maintaining a welcoming environment
- Answering and redirecting incoming calls
- Handling inbound/outbound mail, deliveries, and courier bookings
- Managing visitor sign‑in processes and issuing access passes
- Coordinating and scheduling meeting rooms
- Providing general administrative support (data entry, filing, printing, etc.)
- Ensuring reception and communal areas remain tidy and presentable
- Assisting staff with enquiries and directing them to the appropriate teams
- Liaising with facilities, security, and office management where required
- Monitoring and replenishing office and reception supplies
- Responding to general enquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Supporting internal events and visitor arrangements
