Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

Proven experience teaching young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Ability to design, plan, and deliver highly differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to individual learning styles and abilities.

A positive, patient, and resilient approach to working with children who may present with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

A full, clean driving licence and the ability to drive are essential for this role, as there may be requirements for educational visits and off-site activities.
The Role
As a Class Teacher, you will:

Lead a class and work closely with dedicated support staff, including Teaching Assistants and a multi-disciplinary therapy team.

Develop and implement personalised educational and support plans (e.g., EHCPs).

Monitor, record, and analyse student data to track progress and inform future planning.

Contribute to a supportive, inclusive, and effective learning environment where every young person can achieve their potential.

Participate in practical and theoretical training, including positive behaviour support techniques.
