Summary
The Best Connection Mansfield are seeking skilled CNC professionals able to programme, set, and operate CNC Turning (Fanuc) or CNC Milling (Heidenhain) machines, producing high‑accuracy components and working to tight tolerances.
Requirements:
- Strong experience programming, setting & operating CNC machines
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Confident machining medium‑to‑large components (up to 2m, lifting equipment provided)
- Skilled using micrometers, verniers & gauges
- Excellent communication, time‑management & teamwork
- Apprenticeship or 10+ years CNC experience preferred
- ISO 9001:2015 experience desirable
Day‑to‑Day Duties:
- Machining complex parts from Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel & Titanium
- Setting tooling, making adjustments & performing quality checks
- Completing inspection paperwork
- Working collaboratively within the production team
- Working Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 06:45-15:30
- Friday: 06:45-14:30
- Overtime: Paid at Double Time

- Based on experience, confirmed at interview.
