Summary

FLT Counterbalance Driver - Afternoon Shift

Location: Bredbury
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:00 (earlier finish on Fridays)
Contract: Temporary ongoing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our client's busy warehouse team. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity offering consistent hours with a well-established and supportive company.

This role is ideal for someone with a valid Counterbalance licence and warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

FLT Counterbalance Duties

  • Safely operate a Counterbalance forklift to move stock within the warehouse

  • Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles

  • Transporting pallets and materials to designated storage areas

  • Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations

  • Conducting daily forklift safety checks and reporting any issues

  • Ensuring safe handling and storage of products

Warehouse Duties

  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately

  • Preparing goods for dispatch

  • Labelling and scanning products

  • Assisting with stock control and inventory checks

  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

  • Working as part of a team to meet daily operational targets

Requirements

  • Valid RTITB Counterbalance licence (in date)

  • Previous FLT and warehouse experience

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
