We are looking to appoint a dedicated and proactive Premises Manager to play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.
This is an exciting opportunity for a practical and highly organised individual to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our school site, ensuring our buildings, grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard. The successful candidate will work closely with the Headteacher and leadership team to support the effective running and long-term development of the school premises.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience of premises, facilities or site management
• Has a strong understanding of health and safety responsibilities
• Is practical, organised and able to prioritise maintenance work effectively
• Has excellent communication skills and can work collaboratively with staff, contractors and external partners
• Ideally has a recognised trade skill or qualification in an area such as plumbing, joinery, electrical work or general building maintenance
In return we offer a supportive working environment, a committed staff team and the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development of our school.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate.
If you would like to play a key role in supporting our school community, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Due to our stringent safeguarding policy, CVs will never be accepted. All posts are contingent on enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references.
Employment is conditional on confirmation of the rights to work in the UK – either as a UK or Irish citizen, under the EU Settlement scheme or having secured any other relevant work visa. If you do not have the right to work in the UK and the role does not meet eligibility for sponsorship, please consider carefully whether you meet the eligibility to apply.
