This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and would like to gain valuable classroom experience in a thriving secondary school. The RoleThe successful candidate will supervise lessons during short-term teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with work that has been set by teaching staff. The role involves managing classroom behaviour, supporting students’ learning and maintaining a positive learning environment across a range of subjects. This position would particularly suit someone who:Is considering a career in teachingHas recently qualified and would like further classroom experienceEnjoys working with teenagers aged 13–18 No teaching qualification is required, but the successful candidate must be confident leading a class and able to create a calm, purposeful learning environment.About YouWe are looking for someone who:Has excellent interpersonal and communication skillsIs calm, organised and able to manage a classroom confidentlyEnjoys working with young people of all abilitiesIs flexible, patient and able to use initiativeWorks well as part of a team and demonstrates professionalism at all times About Prince Henry’sPrince Henry’s is an “Outstanding” academy for students aged 13–18, with approximately 1,300 students and a strong, collaborative staff community.
