Summary
Experienced IT Infrastructure Manager? Join us and apply your technical expertise in a complex environment, supporting thousands of staff and students every day. The role covers a broad infrastructure estate including networking, servers, Microsoft 365, Azure, identity services, security technologies, backup platforms, and cloud services. You’ll be the senior technical escalation point for complex issues and lead the design and implementation of new infrastructure solutions, aligned with the college’s technology strategy.
This is a senior technical leadership role combining strong infrastructure expertise with team management and architectural oversight. You’ll lead the IT Services Infrastructure Team while ensuring the college’s systems remain secure, resilient, and capable of supporting a modern digital learning environment. Working closely with the Head of IT Services and wider IT services management team, you’ll translate technical architecture into clear, deliverable plans while driving continuous improvement across infrastructure services.
We’re looking for someone with strong infrastructure and architecture experience, excellent technical knowledge across modern Microsoft environments, and the ability to lead and develop a skilled technical team. Experience in education is welcome but not essential.
