Summary
To work under the guidance of the SENDCo, teaching staff, and the pastoral leadership team to provide high quality targeted intervention and support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and other identified needs. The postholder will ensure that students are safe, supported, able to meet school expectations, and make strong academic and personal progress.
The role involves supporting teaching and learning, promoting positive behaviour, facilitating effective reintegration following suspensions, and acting as a key worker for individual students. Work may be carried out within the classroom, in small groups, or in alternative learning spaces within the school.
