About Us:
We are the Parks and Streetscene Development team at Salford City Council, responsible for enhancing the city’s parks, public spaces, and streets. Our work combines heritage restoration, environmental management, and community engagement to create vibrant, accessible, and sustainable spaces for everyone in Salford. Joining our team means contributing to projects that make a tangible difference for local communities and the city’s green infrastructure.
The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to lead the next stage of the Buile Hill Park National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) project an ambitious programme to restore and revitalise one of Salford’s most historic parks.
You’ll oversee the development phase, coordinating design work, stakeholder engagement, and project planning to produce a strong second-round funding submission to the National Lottery Heritage Fund. Working with consultants, partners, and local communities, you’ll help shape a sustainable future for Buile Hill Park that celebrates its heritage and enhances biodiversity, accessibility, and public enjoyment.
If you have experience developing complex capital or heritage projects, preparing successful funding bids, and leading multi-disciplinary teams, we’d love to hear from you.
Join us and play a key role in creating a lasting legacy for one of Salford’s most loved green spaces.
