Full time hours on a temporary basis
Key Responsibilities
Pre‑Contract Duties- Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities and tender documentation for M&E and wider social housing projects.
- Evaluate contractor proposals, analyse tender returns and support procurement decisions.
- Assist with developing specifications and scopes of work relating to mechanical, electrical and associated building services.
- Provide cost planning advice to internal teams, clients, and project partners.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and ensure cost‑effective solutions.
- Manage all commercial aspects of project delivery, including valuations, variations, cost tracking and reporting.
- Monitor contractor performance, programme progress and compliance with specifications.
- Prepare interim and final account agreements.
- Provide financial reports and forecasts to support project governance.
- Support contract administration, ensuring adherence to relevant forms of contract (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Work closely with construction and M&E teams to resolve any commercial or technical issues.
