We have an opportunity for a qualified Plumber Multi Trade to join a responsive maintenance contract with a social housing provider based in Hammersmith & Fulham. In this role, you'll provide essential reactive maintenance services to residents as part of a social housing contract, contributing to the maintenance of safe and comfortable homes.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out reactive and planned plumbing maintenance in occupied and vacant properties, including installing and repairing baths, sinks, toilets, showers, taps, and pipework.
- Undertaking minor multi-trade tasks such as basic carpentry, plaster patching, and wall or floor tiling to complete repair works to a high standard.
- Responding to emergency plumbing situations such as leaks, blocked waste systems, or loss of water supply, ensuring prompt and safe resolutions.
- Communicating professionally with tenants, ensuring minimal disruption during works.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Using a PDA to manage daily tasks, updates, and job completions.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment responsibly.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
- City & Guilds or NVQ in Plumbing (essential)
- Asbestos Awareness, UKATA or IATP
- Basic Criminal Record Check
