Buckinghamshire College Group is seeking an ambitious and innovative Faculty Director for Construction & Technology to lead one of our most dynamic and high-impact areas. This is a rare opportunity to influence the direction of construction and automotive education at a time of major growth and transformation. You will play a key role in introducing new engineering provision, which will be based at our landmark new campus in the heart of High Wycombe, designed to inspire learners and meet future skills needs.
You will lead and support three curriculum managers and their teams, driving high-quality provision across Construction Trades, Construction Services & Automotive.
Working closely with influential employer partners such as Morgan Sindall, Atkins Réalis, CITB, Daikin and Nissan, you'll ensure our curriculum is future-focused, industry-led and ambitious for every learner.
As a member of the College Leadership Team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our bold five-year strategy and a strong response to the Buckinghamshire Local Skills Improvement Plan.
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Deliver exceptional student success through strategic leadership and management of teaching, learning and assessment that is of the highest quality.
- Lead with innovation and expertise to ensure curriculum planning, design and delivery and review meets the needs of all stakeholders
- Line manage a team of curriculum managers to ensure that all team members are clear about their responsibilities and accountabilities and how they align to college strategies
- Ensure that the curriculum is inclusive, meeting individual student needs and progression aims
- Actively and collaboratively lead, as part of the College Leadership Team.
