Summary
Kenect recruitment are looking experienced Class 2 Drivers to join our clients team based in the Leeds area. This is a day-shift role offering steady work with the potential of permanent placement.
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers' homes across the region, providing excellent customer service and adhering to all transport and safety regulations.
- Start times will be anywhere from 04.00 - 06.00
- Routes will be from 3 - 15 drops per day depending on volume
- 2 days training will be provided by the client before starting
- Most runs are double manned with an experienced porter to assist with lifting and carrying of goods
- Must be physically fit as this role has items that are heavy to lift
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and within timescale provided
- Completion of daily vehicles checks and adhering to all health & safety required
- Driving vehicles in a safe and fuel-efficient manner at all times
CLASS 2 DRIVER - Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC and Digi card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR/IN/DD convictions)
- Ability to start work from 05:00-07:00
- Minimum 6 MONTH HGV experience required
