Crynodeb
The Best Connection are recruiting an additional Class 1 (HGV C+E) Driver based in Skelmersdale due to increased workload and the introduction of a new unit.
The Role- Shunting and delivering trailers between:
- The main Skelmersdale site
- Birkenhead Dock
- Heysham Dock
- Various customer sites
- No handball - strictly trailer moves and pulling curtains.
- Start times vary, typically from around 6:00am- 11:00am.
- Long-term, ongoing work with a stable, reliable schedule.
- Monday- Friday
- Guaranteed a minimum of 50 hours per week
Non‑ADR - £16.00 per hour PAYE
ADR - £17.00 per hour PAYE
Paid holidays when you need time off!
Requirements- Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- ADR licence (optional - enhanced rate applies)
- Consistent, ongoing weekday work
- No physical loading/unloading
- Higher earnings available for ADR‑qualified drivers
