Crynodeb
AdHoc worker required for a 16 year old male in Kirkintilloch.
He is a non-verbal, happy-go-lucky boy that likes to be active and attend activities. His interests include; swimming, bowling, cinema, roller skating, food, music, Disney movies and drawing.
A typical day with him might include going to the local swimming pool, trampoline centre, bowling or out for a walk.
This role involves escorting to and from activities, providing encouragement, and ensuring they can continue to enjoy hobbies and activities to a high level.
The ideal match is bubbly, caring, willing to engage and learn how to interact with him.
Previous experience with non-verbal communication especially Makaton would be very helpful, as would epilepsy training but an outgoing and caring nature is as important.
We’re looking for AdHoc support for potentially an hour or two per week.

The hourly rate is £16.50 per hour.
