We are seeking a General Assistant to support the preparation, presentation and service of food across the site, ensuring all activity meets company standards and delivers an excellent experience for our clients.
This role plays an important part in creating a clean, efficient and welcoming food service environment.
Job Description
We are looking for someone who can assist across a range of food service tasks, maintain high levels of cleanliness, and contribute positively to the team.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, personable and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
Assist as directed with all aspects of food service preparation and presentation
Serve customers in the appropriate manner
Lead and provide food and beverages at service counters
Ensure sufficient supplies are maintained throughout service periods
Take money at cash desks and ensure current prices are charged
Reconcile cash takings where appropriate
Support the delivery of meals and services within agreed budgetary and cost standards
Maintain cleanliness and service quality in line with company expectations
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Clean and well presented
Pleasant and engaging team member
Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
Previous food service experience
Ability to operate a till
Understanding of COSHH and Manual Handling
Good communicator
