Here at Cressington Manor Nursery we are looking for a Trainee Nursery Practitioner to join us where you will learn all about how to provide high quality childcare and engaging learning experiences for children.
You will work with our training provider to gain your Early Years Practitioner Level 2 qualification and will also learn the full range of practical skills and experience to become a qualified Nursery Practitioner with dedicated support from our amazing staff and management team.

To apply for this opportunity, you will need to:
• Have GCSE grade 4+ (previously C or above) in English and Maths
• Be passionate about working in the childcare sector and making a difference to children’s lives.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Be motivated, organised, reliable, and be able to use your own initiative
• Have knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage and experience of working with early years children (although this is not essential it would be an advantage)
Duties will include:
• Supporting others and working as part of a wider team to provide stimulating activities for the children and caring for all of their needs
• Facilitating the children’s development by understanding how to plan effective next steps for them.
• Looking after and maintaining our beautiful learning environment which is key in enhancing the children’s learning.
• Working in partnership with parents and carers.
• Ensuring that all nursery policies and procedures are always followed,
