Summary
Monday – Friday, 9AM – 5PM, 7.5 hours/day + 30 min unpaid break
Short Description:
As an HR Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department by managing employee records, assisting with recruitment, assisting payroll, handling employee inquiries, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies, effectively acting as the first point of contact for HR-related matters within the organization.
You will be based in the HPS Birmingham office (Selecta Avenue, Unit 5 Coleman Building, Great Barr B44 9EH). In the beginning you will work from the office for all 5 days; With time, once you can work independently, you will be able to work 3 days/week in the office and 2 days from home.
You may be expected to travel to London from time to time for various meetings and activities.

As an HR Assistant you will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department by managing employee records, assisting with recruitment, assisting payroll, handling employee inquiries, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring compliance with company policies, effectively acting as the first point of contact for HR-related matters within the organization You will be based in the HPS Birmingham office (Selecta Avenue, Unit 5 Coleman Building, Great Barr B44 9EH) In the beginning you will work from the office for all 5 days; With time, once you can work independently, you will be able to work 3 days/week in the office and 2 days from home. You may be expected to travel to London from time to time for various meetings and activities. You will be a competent user of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will also have a keen eye for detail and have the ability to work to deadlines. You will be able to work flexibly, and you will have excellent organisational and communication skills allowing you to operate as part of a team. You will be comfortable balancing a variety of tasks, which will include answering telephone and email enquiries from clients and colleagues; maintaining records, databases and systems; handling various tasks in the HR Department.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Providing HR administrative support, drafting any HR documents/reports
· Employee onboarding/offboarding
· Drafting and mailing service providers/employee correspondence
· Updating company databases.
· Providing support in activities regarding purchasing of equipment, services, and supplies
· Recruitment and selection
· Employee communication & engagement
· Policies and Procedures Formulation and updating
· Involvement in Learning&Development – Maintaining training record and booking training sessions
KEY REQUIREMENTS
· Experience in a similar position – Administration, Human Resources Assistant
· Friendly and self-motivated
· Good communication skills
