Duties as English Teacher:
- Teach English across relevant secondary year groups on a full-time basis
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills

- Adapt teaching approaches to meet varied learning needs and abilities
- Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Contribute to departmental planning and collaborative curriculum development
- Support pupils in building confidence and enthusiasm for English
- Uphold safeguarding expectations and prioritise pupil welfare
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong English teaching experience
- Confident delivering English at KS3 and KS4
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Good organisational and communication abilities
- Able to motivate and support learners of mixed abilities
- Reflective, proactive, and committed to high‑quality teaching
