As a Team Manager in our Citizen Services – Customer Services team, you’ll lead and empower a team of colleagues delivering essential support to customers at scale. Your work will help ensure the service runs smoothly, efficiently and with care, creating a positive impact for the communities who rely on us.
You’ll guide your team to deliver high–quality interactions, support their growth and maintain the standards that keep the service running effectively. Through purposeful coaching, clear direction and a focus on continuous improvement, you’ll help create the conditions for people to do their best work and shape better outcomes for customers.
What you’ll do as a Team Manager
You’ll be entrusted to:
- Lead a team of Customer Advisors, supporting their performance, wellbeing, development and engagement.
- Oversee daily service delivery, ensuring KPIs, service levels and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Monitor productivity using reporting tools and drive continuous improvement across the team.
- Coach and develop colleagues in line with the Customer Service Quality Framework.
- Support new starters, including onboarding and early development.
- Act as a point of contact for the client and provide first–line technical support.

- A positive, performance–focused approach and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Competence using Microsoft Office and confidence working with data and reporting tools.
Vetting and checks: A Standard DBS check will be carried out for this position. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, reprimands, and warnings as permitted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. An Occupational Health Questionnaire will also be completed so we can ensure you have the necessary support to perform your duties.
